Never heard of that, you need an expensive car to show you're high status something like a Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Bugatti, etc.

Good, Subarus definitely aren’t high status though even if you get a brz or wrx sti. Brands like bmw, merc, audi, Cadillac or Lexus definitely raise status but the problem is so many broke people buy them so unless you can get the newest top of the line model you’re kinda like all the other poor copers thinking they can escape their class.
