and her bff kinda 'notices' me more than my oneitis does, maybe I would even have better chances with the bff? saw her at the entrance of the uni few times yesterday and she stared at me (maybe because we have kinda similar style?) and she seemed the same way as my oneitis used to seem to me, cold and unapproachable, visibly lonely but always on her phone when she's smoking... if I only knew if they're just as miserable as I am or do they actually have relationships and life? I mean idc about the bff but if I knew more things about her, that would tell me a lot about my oneitis... at least, they both have some social circle (a few of alt girls) while I have no one except one loser "friend" (actually a colleague) while another giga-loser "friend" moved from my city so now I'm even more lonely than I used to be 2-3 years ago when I first met her

The problem you have is, you have too much hope and too little substance. You don't want to try your chance because you don't want to lose your hope if she rejects you. Dropping your chance to a net 0%. It's all very counterproductive.

The truth is, based on the way you write you will never get her. You need to act and think like a cornered animal. You need to lose hope for the future and focus on the present moment.
