Here is the thing about this reality: there are many ways to succeed. Chad doesnt have life on easy mode -- he just has one aspect of life going for him rather than against him.
Looks can be the reason u reproduce, or it could be money, or it could be IQ. The list is endless. It could be some niche like religion or some obscure reason that we cannot comprehend, thus the existence of "lucky" oofy doofies
We have a perspective that is looks-centric, and try to explain everything from this perspective. But if u can think outside the box and be smart, u can reproduce as an ugly guy. So, yes, ascend if u can. But dont rope if u cant, there is still hope. Just dont cling to the tragedy of the failure of ur looks, and invent a new path to success. This isnt me being bluepilled, this is my insight into the nature of reality.
Because deer mating isn’t a “big antlers = automatic dad” system. Antlers matter, but they’re just one signal in a much messier game.
Here’s what actually goes on
1. Antlers are mainly for competition, not fertility
Big antlers help a buck:
2. Does don’t always choose the biggest rack
Females aren’t mindless trophy judges. They respond to:
3. Sneaker and satellite strategies exist
Smaller or younger bucks often:
4. Age ≠ antler size ≠ dominance
Some bucks:
5. Evolution hates monopolies
If only the biggest-antler bucks reproduced:
Bottom line:
Big-antler bucks have an advantage, not exclusive rights. Reproduction goes to:

1. Antlers are mainly for competition, not fertility
Big antlers help a buck:
- intimidate rivals
- win fights
- control access to does
2. Does don’t always choose the biggest rack
Females aren’t mindless trophy judges. They respond to:
- timing (who’s around when they’re in estrus)
- behavior (persistence, courtship, lack of injury)
- stress levels (a dominant buck fighting nonstop may miss the window)
3. Sneaker and satellite strategies exist
Smaller or younger bucks often:
- hang on the edges
- wait until dominant bucks are distracted
- move in quickly during brief estrus windows
4. Age ≠ antler size ≠ dominance
Some bucks:
- are genetically smaller but dominant
- have broken antlers
- are past peak antler size but still reproductively strong
5. Evolution hates monopolies
If only the biggest-antler bucks reproduced:
- genetic diversity would collapse
- populations would be fragile
- disease resistance would drop
Bottom line:
Big-antler bucks have an advantage, not exclusive rights. Reproduction goes to:
- whoever is present
- capable
- fertile
- and not blocked at the exact right moment
