Low IQ take but it's .org so whatever. I'll just say looks influence everything but it's not the only factor. Upbringing/nurturing or lack thereof can make or break a person's commitment to participate in society in a pro social way. Having narcy parents fucks you up even if you look good because they objectify and instrumentalize their children to gratify their own needs. The problem is not being seen and accepted for who you are developmentally so you build no foundation of trust in humanity.

Yup. I would add that the only reason people take careers seriously after 30 is because their looks descend from aging and pretty soon they cant leverage them anymore. If there was a substance that made us young forever, let alone beautiful, I strongly suspect that much of the population wouldnt nearly strive so hard at attaining career status, as they'd be too busy meeting each other and fucking and having fun in life.

Once you're visibly a middle aged/older male, your opportunities to meet new people by just bringing yourself are pretty much over. You can pretty much only meet people through career status, and pray to god the friends you made in your 20s basically stay in your life forever
