My claim is a generalization, since in most cases, their brains aren‘t significantly developed or matured, at least in comparison to the majority of the population. Obviously exceptions will exist regarding brain development but that doesn’t invalidate my claim.

The reason I even mentioned physical development because it’s a widespread occurrence in young children, supporting my case as to why 14-year-olds would be considered little/young. Easily understood, I assumed, but oh was I wrong.

Your body technically never “stops” developing (since it continually adapts to how we use them) but at a certain point, the skeletal system and secondary sex characteristics have fully matured, which is what I was referring to.

Substantial physical development like one experiences in infantry, childhood, or adolescence (usually) doesn’t occur in adults.
