I used to be lib-right before, but as I've grown older I now HATE consumerism. I fucking hate how we excessively consume, while I support capitalism and abhor socialism, I despise fucking consumerist culture and don't think companies look out for people. Companies look out for companies, that's it. Everyone has a will to power and so it's only natural you want to further yourself.

I'd still consider myself somewhat right wing, since I cannot get behind leftist politics. But it is true I am quite libertarian.

Yeah true, but that's because I put "strongly agree" on things like "to live in a civilised society you need people below you to be commanded and above you", etc. It's true though, our first societies were created by violence and the invaders then organising the people to work as slaves. Hierarchy is needed for a society, I'm not saying it's morally correct or anything. But it is an uncomfortable truth

I understand your point. THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE TO THAT. That is the ONLY way society could function. While I wish it wasn't that way, it MUST be done in order to have a society.
