Ex. in korea male beauty standards are unique compared to the west. guys are expected to be slim pale skin sharp jawline soft features almost androgynous while western men are pushed toward muscle mass, tan skin, etc. korean men invest heavy in skincare makeup even surgery to hit that v line face (narrower jaw). the dimorphism is different too since men are pushed toward “pretty boy” aesthetics instead of rugged masculine traits. whats your opinion on looksmaxxing for Asians in general, do you think chasing this softer dimorphism is worth it or should men aim for a more masculine standard.

couldnt you say the same thing in reverse about men who look like kpop idols and white girls especially with the rise of bts and other groups boosting asian smv worldwide?

what is your counterargument to that

if "everything is the same" then why was a large, high forehead a beauty standard in the 1500s

i can't answer to something that doesn't exist in real life

This is denial, not an argument

Beauty standards are social constructs but they exist because people act on them. if they didnt exist then skincare surgery gym fashion wouldnt be billion dollar industries. history proves it too like high foreheads in renaissance europe or powdered wigs in the 1700s.
