Yo, I just want to clear up this topic because a lot of people genuinely don’t understand this.
Looks are mostly genetics. Let’s stop pretending otherwise. And the parts that aren’t genetic are 90% decided before you’re even old enough to influence anything in infancy, early childhood, and pre‑puberty. Your bone structure is basically set before your balls even drop, and that’s a fact.
Yes, you might see a few millimeters of change during puberty, and sometimes a few millimeters can matter aesthetically. Your fat pads also shift, which can reveal your bone structure more and make you look more angular and dimorphic, but in terms of actual bone change it’s barely affected. All of this is still minor and in most cases doesn’t change much.
Most “ascensions” you see online are just puberty and natural development (it would’ve happened regardless), fat loss, softmaxxing like fixing grooming, skin, health, coloring, and surgery. People who are fat, pale, unhealthy, and poorly groomed will always look terrible. If you’re 25%+ bodyfat, you might literally be HTN under all that fat, no cope. And yes, some people ascend with surgery but they were very fortunate with their base.
You cannot meaningfully change your development or your bone structure. The difference you can make is maybe a few percent at best, if anything at all. Most glow-ups are just people growing up, getting lean, fixing grooming, or getting surgery. They would’ve ended up looking like that anyway.
If you’re LTN at 16, switching up habits won’t suddenly make you HTN at 20. You can improve with softmaxxing if you’re overweight, unhealthy, or poorly groomed. You can improve with surgery if your base is good for surgery. A few people can go from MTN or even LTN to HTN with surgery, but that’s rare. You need a very lucky base for that.
Steroids won’t ascend you. They don’t grow bones, they don’t give forward growth, and they don’t magically change your facial structure. Unless you’re severely malnourished or hormonally messed up, steroids won’t do anything for aesthetics besides muscle and maybe some thickness, which doesn’t change your actual facial skeleton or body structure.
And blasting roids at 15–16 won’t change your bones either. At best you get some thickness, but nothing that meaningfully improves aesthetics.
And to end this clearly: any looks improvement you see from steroids is temporary. You’ll get more muscle in your body and even some facial muscle fullness, which can improve aesthetics a bit, and you might get better misc since steroids can boost that temporarily but that’s it. None of it lasts. It’s all temporary, and most of you won’t see any real results at all. You won’t get bone changes, forward growth, or anything meaningful long-term. Steroids don’t reshape or grow your bones. The moment you stop, the “improvements” fade. For 99% of you, steroids, exogenous hormones, PEDs, and peptides will be a looksmin, not a looksmax. Steroids are not going to ascend you. They are not going to grow your bones. They are not going to improve your development. Get this idea out of your head.
And just to be clear, this isn’t meant to discourage anyone. A lot of you can ascend massively once you get lean, healthy, fix your coloring, and clean up your grooming. The truth is most of you are too high bodyfat, not healthy, not consistent, and not fully softmaxxed. If you’re not decently good‑looking right now, for most of you it’s because of exactly that. A lot of you don’t look nearly as bad as you think, and many of you are absolutely savable.
Many of you will look genuinely good after proper softmaxxing, and some of you can go even further with orthodontics or surgery if your base supports it. This is not me saying it’s over it is never over. Every single one of you has the potential to become attractive. No doubt.
And every single one of you will be able to live fulfilling, meaningful lives and experience real romantic relationships. The blackpill and hypergamy and all that is not nearly as brutal as these looksmaxxers make it out to be.
