while i'm sure this isn't quite the correct place to post this, it seemed like the place to get the most traction

i'm currently working on a stats project and wanted to know why and how you got into looksmaxxing. tysm!

I got into it because I saw some tiktoks and I stayed in it because I hate myself

my younger cousin (11) whos lowkey into me (no its not what you think) was touching my left "jawline" (it was non-existant), she was touching it and making me clench and her reaction was kind of a letdown haha.... then i get home and i google "how to get jawline reddit" (reddit usually has good creative answers, didnt know about .org back then)

the guy in the reddit comment says these instructions that i read (like 2 year old comment), he was basically describing hard-mewing. i hard mewed multiple times each day.

a few days later i meet the cousin again and she wants to feel my jawline again, feels it and i clench and BOOM shes like "WoooWWWW"...
thats what kinda made me think we can "alter" our improve or appereance, and i remember some guy in beginning of 2022 talking about looksmaxxing to me and about mewing & chewing gum. so i googled up how to mew on youtube and it sent me thru a wormhole. in the end my ioi's and appereance increased a lot and i feel the difference, tho i did have a good base to start off with

started with that one chico lachowski clip on tiktok where he's wearing that yellow mickey mouse jacket, then got more and more into self improvement and tiktokres like k shami and erand started to appear on my fyp
