It happens because users will read "Dye your eyebrows black for better contrast", and they will incorrectly extrapolate that to mean that they should dye their scalp hair black too.

Black hair is uncanny. Blonde hair or dirty blonde has highest appeal to the masses because it looks trust worthy and clean / angelic.

Your scalp hair colour greatly impacts how you are seen by others.
