Realized a few months ago that looksmaxxing, though the reasoning behind doing it is valid, is super lame and frankly counter productive for me personally as I am actively trying to remain abstinent. Of course looking good is objectively important for just about everything, but at a certain point it's just like there's really not all that much that you can do that will be meaningful unless you're planning on getting surgery. Really just a brutal genetics pill like everyone who claims to have had a crazy transformation either realistically had a good base or only looks good in photos and carefully curated videos. Anyways, the point is that I've been totally disregarding my looks, for a multitude of mentally-sound reasons, for the past six-ish months. Total disregard: 5-6 hours of sleep, zero sun exposure, no gym, minimal skincare, fast food only diet, etc. But I shaved for the first time in a while the other day and I realized I don't look half as bad as I realistically should look given the conditions. I'll attach photos and you can check my profile for historical references. It just goes to show that none of this shit really matters. It's all predetermined and genetic. You could take that in a negative way, but I would argue that there is relief in knowing that there's really nothing you can do, so just put your energy into other things and it'll either work out or it won't.
