I think oofy doofy is more about being a middle or lower-middle tier normie who is non-threatening to Beckies and can therefore land a Becky gf who will see oneself (being perceived as having few dating options) as someone who will be dutiful and maybe a bit of a lapdog/doormat/simp.

There's an argument to be made.
When I was ugly I had low standards and crushed on ugly women.
Now I am a chadlite, but 80% of young women are unattractive to me. I can get sex with beckies easily, but I find it unappealing because I care more about something longterm: fwb/ltr.
It's easier being ugly because with lower standards there's more women that meet them.
