For reference, the profile picture I have is a picture of me at the gym. The last in body scan that I took yesterday placed me at around 23.7% body fat. I am 6'3" (190.5cm) without shoes on and 245lbs (111kg). Today, December 1st, marks the beginning of my cut. I will be doing an hour maintenance lift each day followed by an hour of moderate to intense cardio 6 days a week. It is easy for me to do that considering the fact that that is the schedule for my basketball practices. I am not doing this cut with any kind of enhancers like a GLP. I am simply eating 1 high protein meal a day followed by a little carby snack before basketball. I always have and will continue to drink over a gallon of water each day. I am taking supplements like fish oils, zinc, magnesium, and vitamins.
I gave this method a test run for the last 2 weeks and am already down about 5 lbs. It is easy to do because I am busy in the mornings and can manage the hunger until the afternoon. I have two main concerns.
The first, for the near future, at least until mid February is that I could potentially face fatigue on the basketball court. I start at my high school on the basketball team and am worried that my cut will affect my performance on the court. I want to know if I could potentially face serious performance and fatigue issues on the basketball court. If so, how can I avoid them?
The second concern I have is about loose skin. I am no where near obese but I am a bigger dude with some belly fat. Will I have ugly loose skin or will I be okay at 23.7% body fat. Im interested to learn if there is any way to completely avoid loose skin. Thank you for your imput.
