It’s probably also the cause for my eyebrow thinning

Fuck it. Thought xanax can reduce the stress about my destroyed skin/philtrum but it makes it even worse with worrying about hair loss now

Usually TE ressolves after one or two hair cycles, but if it keeps happening might have to try other drug.

However, if you have AGA, TE is also known to accelerate its proccess so its important to not have chronic TE for too long if you want to avoid slapcel status (happened to me)

Thats just from the TE of starting anti depressants. You are too young to know if you are genetically predisposed to balding as of yet.

Just stay on the drugs for 1+ month and 99% of the times the telogen efflivium stops

But if you keep shedding 200+ hairs forever its considered chronic TE, if it happens visit a trichologist so he can diagnose it better instead of nocebo your paranoid incel brain

Antidepressants won't destroy you dude. All AD used now are selected for being incredibly safe. Atleast the ones you'll get first. The older ones might have some dangerous side effects but you'll only be prescribed them if nothing else works.

New doesn't mean better Sertraline, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine are first line. If they alone don't work Clomipramine or an atypical antipsychotic like Risperidone can be added.
