lose face fat with cardio

how much cardio should i be doing when i go to the gym? i usually do stair master for 30 minutes after working out, i work out 4x a week and eat maybe 1700-1900 calories a day and still seeing no progress of losing bodyfat or having a leaner face

im not looking to eat less really im still 16 and dont want to stunt my growth

are you getting lighter
 
Cardio won’t help much, especially if you have below average bone structure. You need to fix your diet and be in a caloric deficit.

im maintaining 62 kg
but like i said not like i want to be any lighter, im already small enough just looking to get more lean

Correct. You need to be burning more calories than you’re consuming. I don’t suggest cardio because apparently it can lower testosterone and slow down your metabolism which in turn, makes it harder to lose weight. I think high intensity sprints will get the job done. If you prefer to do cardio though, that’s fine.

If you're not losing face fat, you're not in a real deficit—your body doesn’t care how “healthy” it feels. Stairmaster’s fine, but maintenance at 62kg on 1800 cals? Either you're overestimating burn or underestimating intake. Doesn’t matter if you're 16, slow recomposition is still possible. Cut liquid cals, bump protein, chill on the stress.

Cardio isn't necessary, only a good diet
