I want to know how to lose body fat as a teen, but i heard calorie deficits could stunt your growth and i want to know how to lose fat safely
 
go in a caloric deficit with 200-400 calories if you don’t want to mess up ur hormones and try 10-15k steps a day 1month of staying consistent is about 1.5kg a month

every type of calorie deficit is bad as a teen

keep in mind to eat in a surplus as a teen just do more cardio and more steps daily

How old are you?
 
i dropped 14 ish kg in like 5 months or so by just eating less but not exercising or eating healthy, wish i hadnt tho, just eat as healthy as you can, hit gym, get steps in and take supplements, if i had to start again id eat at my maintaining rate/slight surplus, just stay consistent bro
