Lost 200 meters away from their home. Kids don't go outside anymore and it's getting scary.

So the main street of my block was closed for construction, and so the buses had to skip a few stops in order to drop as out. Because I'm supposed to get out at the first stop, I had to walk an extra 200-220 meters to get home, which I didn't mind because it was during summer and I love taking walks, but then I saw something that shocked me, 2 Asian kids (brother and sister), who also get out at the first stop as me, pulled out their phones to open GOOGLE MAPS and check the route to get home, I know were they live because it's the first house that comes up when you get out of the bus, and I assure you that it was not far away from where we were at.

This just comes to prove how kids don't play outside anymore, don't hang out with friends don't go out exploring like I used to, I mean it's disturbing. How do you not know how to get to your home that's 2 roads away from where you are right now? I'm surprised she even knew her address.
