It was a standard day, i was just grinding at the casino in 2/5 poker at usual
The table is good there is a lot of action
Ater like 2 hours of play i ws up around 500€,
I was dealt pocket king utg, the second best hand, i do a standard raise of 20€, then get called by 2 players, and one of them covere with a stack around 1200€


The flop came
K/5/5 i flopped a full house one of the best possible hand,
I decide to check, then the wealthy fish who cover me bet full pot,
I call, the other guy fold, the turn come 6, i check he then raise me all in, i happily call, knowing i had the best hand, the river come another 6.

He shows his cards and was dealt pocket 66

He is achieved quads on the turn and river

I did the math and he litterally had less than 0.5% chances of winning on the flop.


Tilted and angry, ispend the next hourstrying to chase my loss,

Before i even realised it i was down 2.5k

I then decided to move higher in stakes to end up at least breakeven,
I play in 5/10, i’m sure i could beat this limit usually, but i was in a very bad mood and very sad and angry, and the game had a lot of good playerin it today. The effective stack is around 1k euros on average


Result, i was down 2k more.

nl50 isn't soft tho, I can beat it for around 8bb/100, but yeah it was after some times of experience already
go down in stake it would be easier and more fun try nl/10

Shouldn't you pay like 1/3 of your earning in taxes? I have a friend of mine who iqs a proffesional tournament player in vegas, he made 500k benefice in 2021, he had to pay 120k in taxes
