Yo,
So I’ve been trying to ascension seriously but I feel like the deeper I go into this shit, the more lost I get.

I’ve read so many guides, threads, “do this, don’t do that” posts — and they all contradict each other. One post says MK-677 is essential, the next one says it destroys your GH sensitivity. Some say you have to get on peptides to ascend, then someone replies calling it cope. There’s literally no clear path. Every time I think I got it figured out, I find another thread that says the opposite. It’s like a blackpill ouroboros.

That said, I already did softmaxxing:

fixed my posture (shoulders back, chest up, chin up)

stopped eating like a fatass

started training
That alone actually improved my looks a lot — I look way better in the mirror, but in real life, girls still treat me the same as before. Like nothing changed. I don’t mog my friends, I’m not getting IOIs, and that makes me think maybe I’m still stuck at LTN tier, just slightly more polished. JFL.

Also, I’m a teen from Brazil so most of the shit you guys talk about is either:

too expensive

unavailable

or sketchy as fuck to buy here

Even if money isn’t the biggest issue for me, I’m not gonna drop cash on peptides or whatever if I don’t even know if it’s legit or worth it. I don’t wanna inject some random underdosed garbage.

And my bone structure?

No zygos

Recessed chin (i jut a lot to not show that)

Midface flat

Narrow jaw

No canthal tilt

Basically JFL-tier without surgery

Probably my only real hope is MSE, and I know that’s a whole different level of cope + cost. Gonna need to see an ortho for that and probably drop a kidney.

I’m just stuck right now.
I’ve read everything, watched everything, but I still don’t know what my actual next steps should be. I don’t even trust half of the advice anymore because everyone mogs each other in the comments and nothing feels solid. I need a clear, realistic plan that actually fits my situation (age, country, genetics, etc).

If anyone’s been through this and made it out — drop some advice. Fr.
Just tell me what YOU would do if you were in my position.

Appreciate anyone who actually reads this.

Honestly, learning how to read medical studies and interpret the medical data is the most useful thing you can do, its the highest quality information possible

If a study looks confusing you can even just plug it into chatgpt and ask it to dumb it down for you

Lock in the following:
  1. Nutrition
  2. Fitness
  3. Sleep
  4. Mental Health
  5. Oral Habits (if sub16)
  6. Skincare
  7. Hormones
  8. Your teeth / orthodontics / orthotropics
  9. Hairstyle
  10. Posture
  11. Smell
  12. Hairstyle
  13. Fashion
  14. Grooming (+thickening eyebrows, lashes)
When it comes to surgery, one really needs to see your face to tell if it's even worth getting surgery for, but either way:
  1. Midface Mask Implant (midface + cheekbones)
  2. Canthoplasty (canthal tilt)
  3. Genioplasty (chin, although if there are functional issues with breathing, bite, or your mandible as a whole is badly positioned it may be worth getting jaw surgery along with it too)
  4. Jaw Angle Implants (narrow jaw)
That should solve most of your problems. I can go in-depth into any of these if you want. But even this is just my opinion, looksmaxxing isn't science, it's just an eco chamber of opinions rather than facts, honestly you should do your research and trust the one that seems the most credible.

Thanks for the breakdown, that actually helped a lot to organize all the chaos.

You're 100% right — looksmaxxing isn't science, it's literally just an opinion battlefield half the time. I've seen like 10 different guides with opposite takes on skincare, hormones, peptides, even fking mewing lmao. I’m trying to take it seriously, but when even the "trusted users" contradict each other, it’s hard to know what’s cope and what’s legit.

I’ve already started fixing:

nutrition (trying to bulk clean)

posture + oral posture

sleep / hydration

gonna see a dentist soon for palate stuff (MSE maybe if I can afford that)

Also, my skin is weird asf. It feels super sensitive, like I’ve tried some of the usual “safe” products and had allergic reactions. At the same time, my skin will be randomly clear for weeks, then suddenly I get breakouts out of nowhere. No pattern, no logic. It's like my skin does whatever it wants, clean one day, purging the next. Makes it hard as hell to stick to any consistent routine.

Still feel LTN tho. No zygos, soft canthal area, narrow jaw. So yeah, some of those surgeries you mentioned are definitely on my radar but I want to exhaust everything non-surgical before I even consider going that route.

If you’re down to go in-depth on midface implants vs MSE, or jaw angle implants vs genioplasty, I’d appreciate it. I’ve seen way too many people say they regret stuff like that, so I’m being cautious af.

Also got any solid sources for skincare or oral habits that aren't just random discord copy-paste?

Appreciate the help fr!

Midface Implants vs MSE:
So they both serve a purpose for your midface and maxillary area, but they act on different axis, and their actions are somewhat complementary. If your palate is too narrow, that's going to cause functional issues, but also aesthetic ones, MSE solves this by widening it, essentially improving the lateral projection of your midface and zygomas, but MSE comes with two issues:
  1. It is only useful if your palate is actually functionally recessed, if it isn't, and you get it anyway, there's a massive chance you would just be negatively impacting your looks.
  2. MSE only works laterally, it can improve the width of your middle third, and it won't do anything about the projection of your cheekbones and maxilla forward. (Note that MSE does improve forward projection of your palate and maxilla but it is very minimal and won't change your face significantly).
Midface implants come in to fix the second issue and to solve your flat midface. I'd consult with an orthodontist to get an assessment of your palate, if it is narrow, then go ahead and get the MSE, if it isn't then avoid it. Midface implants is something I'd consider no matter what if your case is truly as bad as you describe it.

Jaw Angle Implants vs Genioplasty:
Similar case here, they solve different issues. Jaw Angle Implants serve to address a short ramus, bad gonial angle and lack of bigonial width, while genioplasty serves to project your chin forward if it is recessed. Again, I don't have many comments here, other than maybe don't only get a genioplasty if there are deeper issues with your jaw area that would ideally be solved through jaw surgery?

Skincare and oral habits:
Well, to give you any insight on this, I would have to know more about your condition.
  1. It definitely sounds like your skin is sensitive, but is it drier or oilier on top of it? (Skincare)
  2. What's your age? (Oral Habits)

Yeah, what you said about MSE vs midface implants makes a lot of sense. I’m 15, and I’m pretty sure my palate is narrow — I have a noticeable overbite, and my molars tilt inward a bit. My upper teeth cover way too much of the bottom ones. It’s not just aesthetic, I think there’s a legit functional issue going on. Haven’t gotten a full ceph or ortho diagnosis yet, but that’s probably the next step — even if it ends up costing a kidney here in Brazil 💀

At the end of the day, it just depends on which vagina you came out of, and who put the sperm in there..

If it's not something serious, at the level where you go to the doctor, get a diagnosis, and they agree that the surgery should/can take place, you have to wait until you're grown up and save up money anyway, in case your parents can't support you with that or don't agree with whatever you want to do from what you read here

Apart from that, diet, clothes, clothes, hair, skin, and being as NT as possible, you can't realistically do anything else..
