this pic mad goofy but the blue dot is where the rubber band was placed on and it stretched to backwards the red dot which was like a metal hook it hooked onto and it brought my front teeth closer to it so my top teeth will go more inwards

Yo i have a question, i have damon braces and got no extractions, i have heard that getting elastic band will recess the maxxila and maybe pull the jaw more forward a bit, my maxxila is good but i dont know if i should get elastics or not even if id does not actually change bone only the illusion of recession
