thats just a platitude that you hear on reddit and shrinks like to use. love, is very calculated, people go out, go to parties, dating apps etc, with the very intent of getting a partner. whoever they meet was part of a larger endeavor not an accident.
but you know what comes when you least expect it? REJECTION, cuz when you let your guard down thats when you gonna get it. i remember waking up one day opening tinder to delete it because i was disappointed and to my surprise i had matched with a stacy. i thought i got lucky but it was anything but that.
