Humanity has glorified the concept of love for thousands of years. Poems, novels, and movies revolve around it.
Eternal loyalty, soulmates, the idea of being made for each other but the harsh truth is that love never truly existed.
From an evolutionary perspective, what we call love is nothing more than a byproduct of reproductive strategies.
Oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin create a temporary illusion in the brain.
The feeling of eternal bonding is simply the brains way of pushing us toward reproduction and child rearing.
Love is biologys manipulation, not a transcendent force.
In the past, people stayed together until death not because of love, but because they had no other choice.
Women were economically dependent on men, and men lost social standing if they lost their partners.
That is why relationships lasted longer, not because of some mystical power of love. Today, with economic independence, social media, and individualism, the mask has fallen.
People leave each other easily because the conditions that once forced commitment no longer exist.
Movies, songs, and literature try to sell love as something divine.
In reality, it is built on hormones, self interest, and social validation.
The person you call your eternal love today can easily grow bored of you tomorrow.
If love were real, it would not fade so fast
Love has never been metaphysical.
It has always been a trick of biology, a construct of society, and a product marketed by capitalism

I’ve also been thinking about this a lot lately. Kind of hard to live when you know that everything is just a chemical reaction

this is why lookism have become so prevelant. there is no real reason to date other than self validation. that is why every woman from a western background is seemingly hypergamous. they dont date for survival. they love for self love.:blackpill:

I wonder what that feeling is when a foid is hugging you,and puts your head deep in her chest or rest your head on her thighs and says the words "I love you" while directly looking into your eyes.

Well I'll never experience that,so I have to abandon that thought process :feelswhy:
