If you genuinely love someone, be it romantically or the way you'd love a family member or friend, you do so only because you don't truly know them.
Very, very few people actually truly understand other humans, including even close family members, because our society is brainwashed with so much bs that almost nobody truly understands how other human beings actually behave. They have protagonist bias and think only themselves can have 'dirty secrets', as if they're somehow the only degenerate in the world to be into weird fetish shit or some other peculiar interest. They don't actually love other people for what they are, but for what they THINK they are. They project their ideal romanticized version of that person onto them and assume that is what they're really like.
This is why there are so many bluepilled fathers who are hyper-protective about their 'little angels' even when their so-called angels are giant whores who start doing drugs and sucking dick at age 12. They actually have no idea what they're looking at. They don't know the person that's been living under the same roof its entire life. They think they do. But they don't.
I can even use myself as an example. Many of my bluepilled relatives see me as an innocent cloudcuckoolander because of my scrawny build and relatively boyish appearance, even going as far as treating me like a kid or teenager even though I'm now in my 30s. If they were even semi-aware of what my real personality is like, they'd be shocked and horrified. They treat me for what they THINK I am, not for what I ACTUALLY am. They'd be horrified and disgusted if they knew the 'real' me.
And this goes for everything. I'm unconvinced that the concept of love could even exist if it wasn't for popular delusions and ignorance.
