I think the people here are average in general intelligence, but majorly deficient in a highly visible way. All people have deficiencies, but most people's deficiencies aren't so inconvenient and reductive towards their overall quality of life.

I don't know about reddit because I'm a 38 yr old American Midwesterner, and I've probably only been on Reddit less than 50 times throughout my entire life.

And you know what? A lot of people just use reddit for one thing and one thing only. I'm willing to bet that at least 80% of all Reddit users (Americans nation wide) are only ever on there to talk about gardening, cooking, hiking, and kayaking type of shit.
