I think its pretty normal in 2026 unfortunately. Just speaking anecdotally I would say 60-70% of my friends have either given up or arrangemarriagemaxxing. The other 20 % jestermaxx then maybe only 5% are actually happy with their dating life.

Great analysis. All humans want to seek out the best mate to pass on their genes. We are slaves to our biology and we function so that our genes may perpetuate copies of itself generation to generation having no concern for anything else.

But just because something is not natural does not mean it is not good for us. This egalitarian approach has allowed great advancements in science , medicine and engineering greatly increasing the quality of life for all of us. The more productive beings that exist the better it is for everyone .

We are unique in that we are the only species who can pass on explanatory knowledge from generation to generation. We perpetually solve problems and obtain new knowledge consequently.

We can not allow population collapse and to devolve back to our primal biology.
