I’ve come across many posts like this and come across the opinion that it’s a myth and another one believing in it.

I have recessed jaw and chin, a narrow face and short ramus, gonial angle is slightly too obtuse aswell (my lower third is cooked). Will training masseter make it look better or worse?

Worse especially when you have a short ramus

Chewing really harder food will be beneficial for your ramus and mandible. But masseters are a bloated muscle..only good if you have outward gonions
