lower canine teeth question

i have crooked teeth on the lower jaw and my canines are both protruding. so i feel like if i get braces it can improve chin projection. or is just a cope? ik i gotta discuss it with my dentist but consultation isnt gonna be soon.

I mean how could I know how my jaw is gonna be looking after applying braces? I don't have an eye on it like a superlooksmaxer. your thread just says like "oh there are some possibilities of this and some of that". it helped me just to understand that I gotta discuss it with specialists and not on forum. there was no aggresion to your reply

Consultation is your best bet brother. Braces may temporarily accentuate your mandible and lip positioning due to its outline, but if there’s some recession there that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Dental problems are real, and they come back later to hurt. Take advantage of braces whilst you can G.
