Ask your dentist. Idk about lower jaw expander but you can also get theeth removed.

They dont exist

Your mandibular suture fuses at year 1 of birth. A traditional palate expander cant do that without an open suture.

The only way to expand the lower palate is with self ligating braces, yet it won't expand the palate, just widen the dental arch. Your jaw will still be the same size, compared to an upper palate expander which changes the entire Midface.

This is what normal MARPE does as well for the maxilla, it is specifically designed to reopen the mid-palatal suture in those whose jaw bones have already fused

That would be SARPE

SARPE is meant to reopen the suture. Not MARPE.
MARPE has been seen to not cause a suture split in those who have fused maxillary sutures

Marpe and sarpe have differences but not in this aspect

MARPE is a non-surgical and minimally invasive using palate-anchored miniscrews ideal for young adults

SARPE is surgical and used for severe mature constriction cases ideal for adults

Regular RPE and Haas is what’s used for open sutures
