Lower premolar extractions worth for BSSO?

Title says it.

I have a recessed jaw (class II) with no functional problems. I had camouflage orthodontics as a teen.

I basically have 2 choices:
- BIMAX but without ccw since my occlusal plane is flat
- BSSO with premolar extractions (2 from lower jaw) to gain space for advancement

I tend towards BSSO because linear Lefort 1 would probably fuck my nose and chimpmaxx me.

Premolar extractions are shit but are they worth with BSSO?

I had lower premolar extractions with a plan to get BSSO. Then my orthodontist botched me and I couldn’t even get the surgery. Had to settle for genioplasty. I digress.

Is it possible you can get BSSO without any orthodontic work?

Damn, how is that even possible. Without extractions I might only get 4-5mm movement by Decompensating.

Yes. I had 4 premolars extracted and 4 wisdom. This is fucked but thats how I got my trimax with an 11mm bsso forward advancement and 5mm lefort 1 impaction.
