So I recently decided to take off my retainers as there's been evidence on this forum that it can promote growth of the lower third and pallet expansion at the top (retainers restrict this). However, I've reached a point where my bottom teeth are getting wider than the jaw itself. What's happening here? Am i screwed./ I'm constantly chewing and mewing too.
This is what I mean (ik the drawing is ass but the lower teeth and lower pallete are getting bigger where it is surpassing the actual jaw (jaw bone under the teeth) - ik this sounds wierd as when the lower pallete gets bigger shouldn't the whole jaw get bigger???!):

Due to this, hallow cheeks aren't possible and I just look weird.
