One is not more important than the other.
It's about thresholds! You can't have a mf ratio below 0.9 otherwise you'll look terrible, and you can't have a recessed rounded jaw.

But i would rather have an average midface ratio (around 0.95) and good jaw than having a perfect compact mf (1-1.05) and average jaw.

Depends how long it is. If it's Dellisola long which is around 0.90-0.93 then yes it will save

My midface is to compact, like 1.15 ratio, my jaw ia decent, have perfect chin to philtrum ratio, in the end is all about how everything come in to place.
