I don't claim ND, bc I think mfs who larp nd are corny asf, just have a slight suspicion i could be autistic
I was tested for adhd and add when I was younger, don't have either, just some tendencies (selective memory, vocal and physical stimming)
Now that I look at some of my habits and think abt what some people have said to me I could be slightly on the spectrum
1: multiple ppl have told me the same things I said earlier in the thread, my tendencies line up pretty well with autism
this is just one example but I've heard it from others before
2: I often don't understand what I should do in situations because what's considered normal to do just doesn't make sense. Making small talk, waving at strangers, paying mind to beggars, etc. When something doesn't make sense to me I just kinda give up on it.
3: I also have some "intense interests" that I get very knowledgeable about and then loose interest in the topic once I find another thing I'm interested in. memorizing video game OSTs, speedrunning tech for specific games, horse race tests, FNaF lore, any useless thing you could think of
5: I've had this stim since I was like 9 where I do random gestures with my hands like doflamingo which def got me plenty of weird looks growing up
nowadays I still tap my fingers in random shapes, just that I tap my fingers in a polyrythm now (different notes on each hand)
I have some other stims too, just anything that distracts me and kinda numbs me from whatever is going on in the room
idk, this is probably just autistic tendencies and I'm not truly autistic. If I am autistic then it doesn't really handicap me that much so I'm good
