My first and last name are al-Qaeda tier, but my white mum thought it would be a good idea to put in a Western name (she thought of something French because of my Lebanese heritage).

Nope. I grew up to use my al-Qaeda-tier first name.
I only ever used my western middle name to a group of whites I met at a house party/strangers in a non-professional environment that I know I won't ever see again. The response from them when I do this is more favourable/they feel less confused than if I were to use my normal name.
