This new variation of Haki isn’t explained well at all.

Devil fruits used to be a cool power system that relied on the users creativity to reach their true potential, chopper going beastmode, Luffy inflating himself, using his body as a pump in gear second. There’s lots of examples in early one piece of creative fruit use and I feel like that’s been completely lost.

Oda had an extremely easy opportunity to put this into use with Kidd, manipulating the electromagnetic spectrum gives possibilities to do lots of cool shit but instead he just gives this nigga a big metal arm.

Stuff like that was what made me really like one piece, the world building and emotional story moments were really good as well.
And Logia fruits being extremely overpowered was what made it necessary for haki to be introduced, I still didn’t mind that Logia’s were overpowered as fuck because whenever a character who had one showed up you knew they were a real threat. This was exemplified further by how all 3 admirals had logias and they were essentially one-man armies.

There was this sense of mysterious and adventure about the world of one piece and this whole Sun-God Nika shit ruins it for me.
And Kaido just having 0 backstory is so retarded
