I randomly remembered the documentary "Don't F**k With Cats on Netflix" and decided to revisit the story of one of the most disgusting individuals I've ever heard of, Luka Rocco Magnotta. Criminal, narcissist, attention-seeker, and honestly, someone I’d punch if we ever crossed paths.
Magnotta (not his birth name) was a model, escort, and briefly a gay porn actor, but more importantly, he was a murderer. He brutally killed a 33-year-old Chinese student named Jun Lin, and even more disturbing to me, he tortured and killed four kittens on camera (two by suffocation, one by drowning, and one fed to a python), all for online attention.
What stuck with me was how deeply obsessed he was with beauty. His ex-girlfriend described him as having a fixation on appearance. He got multiple cosmetic surgeries and once called himself “addicted” to them while auditioning for a reality show. Honestly, the dude was some sort of "proto-looksmaxxer" before the term even existed.
Of course, his crimes are horrific, but I couldn’t help noticing the relation between him, his narcissism, his obsession with beauty and some facets of looksmaxxing and hardmaxxing. So here’s a morbidly curious question: How would you rate Luka Magnotta on the PSL scale?
