I re-downloaded Tinder recently. I'm 27 now, and I feel like I wasted part of my youth, focusing on money only, and not dating enough (did not start until ~24 and the went straight into a 2-year relationship LOL)

Sooo I decided to lie on my profile and say I am 25, not 27. I think most younger girls set their range to 18-25 or 18-30, so I didn't want to miss out on the ones who would only date up to 25, especially as I look early 20s AT MOST (this is based on what everyone tells me, literally everywhere, not cope at all - I am brutally critical of myself, but anti-aging is one thing I do well)

Do you think it will be awkward if they find out I lied, or will they not give a shit? Like if it comes up on a date, how would you play it off? There is not much risk of them finding out, the only way it could happen is it I tell them, or if they see my ID when I have to show it at a bar/club.

I could either say, "oh, I made the account with my Facebook profile, which had the wrong age, and I couldn't change it", or I could just lie and say I am actually 25. WWYD?

If you want to slay you can put 24, it is ideal for girls aged 20-24 and i guess thats what you want

Setting 30 and more cucks you somewhat, you can ofc still pull if you look good but for example if you are 31, you better put in 27

Yeah there is definitely going to be a drop-off after age 25. I honestly don't even blame the girls, because a lot of guys look like shit after 25 lmao

I still pass as 24/25 fr. HOWEVER since I hit 30+ that's a huge psychological barrier for a lot of sub-25 women online.

Men age better than women as long as they can keep their hair and have decent skincare.

If you're only going on dates in order to find someone to marry and have kids with, that's fine, but I can't even imagine myself living with a girlfriend (never did, even in LTR), let alone marrying, having kids with, and being with the same person forever.

That's a mid-30s problem, not a late 20s problem.

Some words of advice from an oldhead who started late: don't wait until you're ready - you never will be. Just bite the bullet, make a dating profile with good pics (get as good looking as possible before doing this, but don't hold off for more than like 3-4 months) and then just practice dating by meeting OK/decent-looking girls (or hot girls if you're gl)

You just have to do it, and you'll learn 100x faster than watching a bunch of shitty manosphere videos, made by people who have little grasp on reality.

yeah thats good advice, actually pertaining to everything in life really. the more u overthink the more it hinders progression, and just make u get comfortable with not doing anything to fix or seek solution.
