So I have a bisexual friend and I ended up drinking half a bottle of vodka and basically said homosexuality is sinful and shouldn't be done and we were inches away from fighting.

Because I had been drinking I was very much up for a fight but he backed down and it just became awkward and stuff.

It was totally my fault for not being le hyper accepting normshit about absolutely everything however I'm pretty annoyed at how it was handled. I gave him ample opportunity to have a discussion about it and only at the last minute did he speak about it.

Then it turned into some depressing brag contest about who fucked the hottest bitches and who was more incel or more of a loser really. It was just depressing as fuck honestly.

Well the social consequences could be dire. I've yet to see whether this friend even wants to speak to me after this.

I made a point to say that if he cannot accept my personal beliefs on it then he is no friend of mine. I said it's his life though I disagree with it. He was hesitant to say that we weren't friends anymore so I'm hopeful we can rekindle after this.

But I'm not going to put up with this fucking bullshit. My other friends had some kind of intervention to try and make me no longer Christian and shit it was fucking wild honestly. I stuck to my guns though and I told him to call the police to remove me from his house if he wanted me away so badly because I was not leaving on my own. He didn't phone.
