EVERYONE BECOME A REFEREE!
I swear this job is so easy and effortless and actually makes some money. I am a football referee and it's 100% the most stress free job you can do to make some pocket money. Unless you're a pro referee, this shit isn't going to make u a millionaire, but hear me out on the benefits of this job. In 2 months I made around 800$ during summer with a really low amount of hours.
PROS:
---You choose your schedule. There isn't any boss telling you to come at 9:00 and leave at 17:00.
---This shit actually makes like 30$-50$ an hour as a beginner. I wouldn't even compare this to the minimum wage jobs.
---You're actually outside and running/jogging. It's exercising, but not too stressful on your body.
---It's the most fun job ever. Imagine watching a football game while also being paid.
---Stress free job
---No touching receipts
---The formation lasts 2 days
CONS:
---You don't earn as much money as other 9 to 5 workers, because refereeing isn't full time and your dependant on how the "boss" gives you offers for matches.
---Having to complete the scoresheet after a match can take some time (10 mins)
CONCLUSION from my experience:
As a teenager, this is 100% the best job ever and I will keep on doing it. I can actually live my life outside of the job. For the students who get a full time minimum wage job during summer, I don't understand you and feel so bad. It must suck for them. Since I get so little matches (2 a week usually), I genuinely enjoy having one and I would have hoped to get more. Once you're refereeing a match, you forget about the money and actually just enjoy the moment. Those who referee would understand. EVERYONE go and do your formation.
