Make sure you brush in a way that doesnt cause that much irritation to your gums. make sure you brush in a circular motion away from your gums.

Make sure you are very gentle with the brushing, you dont need to get all the food residue from your teeth in one minute it should take 5 minutes at LEAST if you are gentle.

I say this because I have noticed that the gumline on my right front tooth has gone up a lot and its the same amount of recession as my left front tooth now.

RECEDING GUMS ARE NOT A NATURAL PART OF AGING.

i just wish my parents and dentist would have told me this earlier.

This is true also you only want to buy the soft bristled toothbrushes, never medium or hard. People are so desperate to turn their teeth white they start damaging their enamel and eroding away their gums. Flossing also helps keep your gums from receding
