If the goal is “looks better but nobody can tell you're wearing makeup,” I'd prioritize tinted moisturizer/sunscreen
If you wanna learn how to apply properly here are some very good versatile, makeup channels (some of these guys are gay btw)
- Tinted Moisturizer / BB Cream
- Evens out skin tone, reduces the appearance of redness, and gives your skin a more consistent look while still looking natural.
- Works well with tretinoin usage, make sure you get the right shade or it'll look unnatural, I recommend using a tanning lotion with it.
- Concealer
- Can cover individual blemishes, dark spots, or under-eye darkness. Use a small amount only where needed.
- Works well with Bonesmashing bruises, also covers any DIY Cuts.
- Tinted Sunscreen
- Helps protect your skin from the sun while also evening out redness and discoloration. (pretty much the same as tinted moisturizer)
- Brow Gel
- Keeps eyebrow hairs in place and makes the brows look cleaner and more defined without dramatically changing their shape.
- If you have a very bad eye area, due to eyebrows, this can help drastically, also covers up a lot of UEE.
- Clear Mascara
- Can make eyelashes look slightly more defined and separated without adding obvious color.
- Nothing much to say, I'd rather just recommend like a serum for your eyelashes like bimatoprost.
- Bronzer
- Adds a little warmth and definition to areas such as the forehead and cheek area. A subtle application looks much more natural.
- I'd lowkey recommend this for you paleskins, especially if you're Asian and into skincare, this will ascend you all a lot. But honestly, you can just get a tanning lotion or hop on mt2, or do whatever you want to tan.
- Contour Stick
- Adds subtle shadow and definition around areas like the cheekbones and jawline. It's best used very lightly so it doesn't look painted on.
- Some people use this for the zygos, and honestly it's a lot better than just using a marker like what Dillon Latham preaches.
- Blush
- Adds a small amount of natural-looking color to the cheeks and can make the face look less washed out.
- not much to say, this is arguably the gayest one to wear out of all
- Lip Balm
- Keeps lips moisturized and smooth. A clear or very lightly tinted balm can make them look healthier without appearing like lipstick.
- Honestly, just wear Vaseline. Vaseline has almost instant effects, and ascend your lips a lot, if you want that "lip balm" look just use a rosy Vaseline.
- Translucent Setting Powder
- Reduces excess shine and helps other products stay in place, especially if your skin gets oily.
- This is really only if use other makeup products so I guess combos too like tinted moisturizer and concealer
- Pore-Blurring Primer
- Creates a smoother-looking surface and can make pores and uneven texture appear less noticeable.
- Bro just do skincare at this point, but I guess you can use this if your skin is bad.
- Highlighter
- Adds a subtle amount of light to areas like the upper cheekbones. Use very little for a natural effect.
- Brings out the look of your bones, give you a more youthful look.
- StealthMaxx Contour Pen
- Target the narrow planes of the face (zygomatic arch and ogee curve, giving the look of hollow cheeks,
