Makeup to ascend?

I’ve been thinking a lot. I’m tired of being an unattractive chud and being treated like I crap and getting no attention from girls. Meanwhile, a lot of girls who are objectively below average looking girls manage to, use makeup, groom and dress themselves to present themselves well and instantly get attention from tons of guys overnight.

It made me wonder: would it be possible for a guy to do something similar? As in, using makeup and grooming to ascend to above averge and attractive instead of just rotting.
Could this actually be an viable way to ascend?

I’m curious if anyone here has experience with this or knows whether it’s actually worth considering to ascend.
