Not really. You need to invest a bunch into it. Like tens/hundreds of thousands of Robux in ads. Can also contact YouTubers like flamingo to play your game for a video if it's actually original

As a 17yo game dev, I can say this works only if you have experience developing games. With today's AI tools it's much easier to create games and requires less skill & experience than a couple of years ago.

It used to make 40$+ a day

As of today, it makes around 40-50$ a month

Considering this game has not been updated in well over a year, its an okay side income. If you fully focus on game development, you can easily achieve numbers such as 100$ a day

you can definitely make money on roblox if your game is actually good and you have a budget for ads, i used to make games on roblox years ago, made a couple thousand bucks (2022 tapping sim era). if you monetize your game well and have good ui/ux roblox is free $

back in quarantine i was 10 and got super into making roblox games and scripting and with my other 10 yr old friend we made basically a copy and paste of break in but with a different theme. didnt make any real money but actually having robux was nice. theres definitely money in it especially if you advertise, premium payouts are the only thing that make it viable

i tried it with my hb, took forever to learn just for like 50 players, maybe if you have an amazing concept but most of those copy and paste games dont do very well ( but the few that work do amazing obviously )

the website its turning to shit chat is completely useless and sometime this or next month they're paywalling roblox development so you have to spend 5.99 every month just to publish and keep up a roblox game that has a slim chance of succeeding, i think it's time to switch to other platforms they're already scamming the shit out their developers with the shitty devex rates i promise it's not worth it especially right now but if you're committed to it despite everything maybe it'll be easier since it's also getting rid of a lot of competition

(if you don't pay for the new roblox+ the only people who can play your games are 18+ id verified users who aren't giving you shit the target demographic is retarded children who will buy anything)

i didnt know about this but 6 a month is nothing bro. and yeah i already started learning roblox studio. im learning now on top of my exams too, but in the summer im kinda excited just to make a game and see what happens

It's hard and easy to learn, the tools are relatively easy to use, but 99% of the learning tools are complete dogshit, i had an easier time learning multiple variable calculus, which is a relatively hard concept but good learning tools, than learning the ins&outs of the roblox studio workflow and shit. I gave it a try. Bro Claude can carry this shit hard. And u can just ask Claude why buttons to click in the studio if u wanna achieve specific task.

Unfortunately not so easy, my brother's been doing that for 11 years and from what i see there's a lot of marketing technique's required, and even so it's still not guaranteed to succeed even if you get a very good marketer, In the end he almost always has to sell the game to some other people to still make some profit out of it. Tho i do know someone that does comissions rather than work on his own projects and he makes like 11K a month and he's 17 so yeah that's way better but he's an experienced modeler.
