I see so many threads of users who glaze themselves, saying they have high iq and good looks etc and arguing/getting defensive if anyone questions it. They basically think they are the main character.

When you feel a need to announce you’re positive traits, all it shows is that you’re insecure and need external validation to confirm this.

Actually high iq, good looking people tend to not be concerned about these things and are self assured.

Boasting is just a self report that you are lacking in some way. It has the opposite effect and makes people question you. Do you think chad goes around convincing everyone hes chad? Or does it just show through his actions?
