chad or masc got still angularity ofc but big rounded gonions :

it's kinda logic, pretty boy got slim soft feature and a detailed face

but chad are more massive traits

massive angle is still angular, but not line/line like soft boy

Also, you can't deny that biger gonion looks more powerful, like lions tiger etc

so i think that straight line angularity is for pretty boys only, cause it give you a short angle

When you have naturally high T your massateers are going to be naturally alot larger so this is probably the main reason for this
