mandible narrower than maxilla

my manible (lower jaw) is narrower than my maxilla (upper jaw). this results that my lips are a little asyemmtrical. its probably not very noticable but i notice it in every picture. im 22. what are my options? i dont want braces cuz it will push my teeth together and make my maxilla just as narrow right?

i guess im too old for a palate expander too
