Mandible and cheekbones are a lot more important than maxilla, all you really need is decent maxilla projection at the mouth area and normal vertical length so you don’t end up with horse face.
His maxilla above his upper lip is below average to average at best in projection, but because he has forward projecting zygos and mandible he still looks insane, notice how above his upper lip his face looks sunken this is because of his forward zygos combined with his maxilla positioning giving him that crazy sunken appearance, if his upper maxilla was more forward he wouldn’t have that crazy sunken look. Here’s an example of someone who got upper jaw advancement and looked worse after:
13mm maxilla advancement when his main issue was his flat zygos, if he had forward zygos he would look similar to the guy above. In the after his face looks chubby, he only needed minimal maxillary advancement and a fix for his flat zygos instead. So basically focus on lower jaw and zygos if you’re gonna do surgery unless your maxilla is deformed tier recessed.
