mandibular setback

i’ve had an underbite my entire life (and crooked teeth) just recently got braces a year ago at 16 because they said my jaw was still growing, but i’m just wondering if anyone knows more about it. the underbite definitely nerfs me makes my chin way to prominent and my bite is fucked, but has there been cases of mandibular setback nerfing people?

my orthodontist is a 70 year old man in the early stages of dementia, half of the time he speaks i can’t even understand what he’s saying. if he could tell me i wouldn’t of made the post you inbred retard
