I make this thread so you can know when some dumb slut is manipulating you
Or so you can manipulate some sluts
First high effort thread, kinda nervous haha
Or so you can manipulate some sluts

Anyways lets begin
1. Future Faking
Basically its when someone makes promises about the future but dont intend to keep them
Examples:
“were going to get a house and move in together”
“One day im going to marry you”
“were going to travel all around the world together”
And so on, those are some basic examples but they can come in many variants, some more detailed than others
People who do this paint a vivid picture but simple enough for you to truly believe in what they say, sometimes going as far to look up details about vacation spots and places to live
Your brain latches on to these false promises of a future and you end up shutting down some of your own plans in hopes they come true
New promises replace the old ones anytime you bring them up and timelines change
Don’t ever truly believe what people promise

2. Intermittent reinforcement
In simple terms this is just bi polar bitches
Maybe sometimes they’re super loving, or extremely obsessed with you
Sometimes they’re cold, and dont want to talk to you about anything or it feels like theyre ignoring you
It always starts sweet and randomly the loving attitude drops, you sit there and try to figure out what you did wrong, then randomly the kindness returns
Its basically like gambling, you invest into something that will randomly pay out, the pay out being the kindness and the investment being your efforts
The random rewards create obsession

3. Moving the goal
This is basically when someone tells you what they want from you and then when you meet their expectations, they change
Say i asked you to clean the house and you do it, then i tell you that you didnt clean the house good enough
Now imagine that but with everything i ask of you, thats basically all this is, the original goal is replaced with a new requirement you weren't told about
It works because it shrinks your confidence, if nothing you do is ever good enough for the person you begin to think that youre the problem, you work harder to fix things that werent your fault in the first place

4. Weaponized incompetence
I do this shit all the time and it works
its when you agree to do something and purposely fail at it over and over to the point where who ever asked you to do it has had enough and does it for you
You basically just pretend to suck at stuff you dont want to do and when youre corrected on how to do it, agree and then fail again
It works because calling it out feels cruel, how can you be angry at someone for trying and failing to do what you asked

5. Moral licensing
Its when someone does something nice and then uses it as an excuse to do something bad
For example say someone you know buys you a “gift” out of nowhere
You except it and go on with your day
Then randomly a few days later they snap at you or do something harmful, when you say something about it they point back to the gift they gave you using it an excuse to make you feel bad about being angry towards them
They use their “good deeds” as a shield to get away with what they want
Maybe youre focusing too much on the negative you think to yourself
And thats how it starts, they will continue using it as an excuse to get away with bad things

6. Selective memory
Do i even need to really explain this
Someone purposely misremembers something to their benefit, they slowly make you feel like you were the one that misremembered an argument you had and so on
Pretty simple one

7. False urgency
This is how those money hungry fucks at dealerships and scam places get you
They make you feel like you need to rush into buying something and pressure you to get it faster so you dont look to deep into things and notice the stuff thats wrong
This also works outside of money ordeals, the urgency makes you act out of emotion rather than logic

8. Information withholding
A lot of jobs do this, purposely leaving out things youre required to do at the job to make it seem more appealing
People also do this a lot, telling you partial truths, leaving out key details, and hiding facts thats would change how you see the situation
At first they tell you something, like a plan that involves you both, you trust the info they gave you and make choices based off of it, then later you find out stuff they left out and disrupts what you had in mind
A lot of people who talk to multiple women/men at once do this, or dudes/girls that still talk to their ex when theyre in a relationship
You can also use this to your advantage, purposely leaving out information to get people to agree, cops do this shit all the time

Alright ima end it there, getting lazy again
Have fun spotting crazy bitches lies and manipulation now that you've read up on manipulation a little
Or go manipulate women, idc what you do with this info
