Manletism Thread

The benefits of LL are not worth the cost IMO
If it’s consuming your life which I imagine it does since height poisons my thoughts every day and I’m 177cm, then it’s undoubtedly worth it. Granted it’s about a year of your life being out of work and it may cost around a years wage, so it would set you back around 2 years career-wise. However in just the money benefits of being tall (e.g tall people get payed significantly more) that almost makes up for it by the time you retire. And all the other benefits of being really tall make it so worth it. The only other downside is your physical capabilities may change. You should still be as capable as before but you may be better/worse at certain things since your center of mass changes

Part 1: Introduction

In 2026, the dating market is saturated with tall male normies. Height has become one of the most visible and quickly judged traits, especially with the rise of dating apps where people filter partners within seconds.
This thread is meant to break down just how much height actually matters.
I’m writing this from the perspective of someone who is 5'7", which is considered average globally but often labeled as “short” in modern dating standards. The goal of this thread is to compare 5'7 vs 5'11 / 6'0 and look at the real differences in dating, workplace perception, respect, and overall statistics

Let's start with some basic facts-

• 100% of women prefer dating men taller than themselves

• Women rate men who are 6 feet or taller as 60% more attractive on average

• Only 4% of women say height doesn't matter in dating partners

• Men prefer women 5'4" to 5'7" by 45% more messages

• 30% of men won't date women taller than them

• Men rate short women (under 5'3") highest attractiveness

• 90% of dating profiles mention height preferences

• Height filters used by 65% of Tinder users

• Men under 5'9" get 70% fewer matches

• 6'2" men have 71% higher success rate

• Short men 5'6" or less have 58% fewer dates

• Height correlates 0.45 with number of dates

For the rest of the thread we will use 2 examples- Person A (5'7 mtn ) and Person B 6ft (mtn )

Based on the above source- A may receive around 60% fewer matches than B, meaning the taller man may have roughly twice the dating opportunities.

Dating and competition:

View attachment 4739533

The above graph shows the amount of competition a man has to face to date a women based on their height.
From the above graph we can see that A has to compete with another A for the same girl- so basically 2 guys fighting for one woman. This completely flips if we look at B, B has to fight with 0 men to pull.

To put it simply short men have to basically play the hunger games but for foids.

Part 2: Job and career

Each additional inch of height is associated with roughly a 1–2% increase in annual earnings.
Over a full career, that difference compounds significantly.

Person A earnings vs Person B

Let's say person A gets a job and earns 100k annually. If he retires at 60 his lifetime earnings are 3.5m now let's compare it B who got the same job and earnings. Person B will earn 3.762.500 at the end of his career, 262k more than A.

If B doesn't work for 2.5 years he will still earn the same as A.

But the black pill doesn't stop here

Taller men are more likely to be promoted meaning that B may actually earn way more than A.

Height also plays a role in getting hired. Taller men are more likely to get hired.

Part 3: Perception, Personality and Confidence

Taller individuals are often perceived as more confident and authoritative, even when their actual confidence level is identical to a shorter person.

A 5'7 man is way more likely to be judged on their behaviour to someone who is 6'0.

Conclusion

It's pretty much over if you are under 180 as a man even worse sub 175. The diffrence in life from just 10cm of height is massive. Height effects pretty much every area of your life. It's getting worse day by day and there is nothing you can do.

Ever since I was 14 I've been really insecure about my height. It's eating me alive. I don't know what to do.

Going to a predominately hispanic high school and being 5'5 genuinely filled me up with so much hope.

But now that I'm in a pw college I want to rope more than ever.
