Marpe after 3 years of braces

Is it worth getting a MARPE if I have had braces for 3 years and I can finish braces rn and get a marpe or I can just take my braces off. My parents will only let me get a marpe with braces bc they think my teeth won’t be straight as my teeth grow, lmk what yall think.
